One of the best ways to get success in your industry is to follow the footprints of those who have achieved success. I have put together a list of top SEO Industry professional I am a big fan of & learned a lot from them. I hope you can do it too!

Neil Patel: He is a co-founder of the analytics companies KISSmetrics, Crazy Egg, and Quick Sprout. In 2002, he co-founded ACS (Advantage Consulting Services), an SEO & Marketing company & served as consultant for numerous fortune 500 companies. By 2005, he was named one of the top influencers on the web. In 2006, Neil co-founded Crazy Egg. Shortly after the launch, Neil reportedly received a US$5 million offer to sell the company, but he declined. In 2009, Neil launched the Quick Sprout Blog which grew to produce annual revenues in excess of US$1 million. In 2008, Neil co-founded KISSmetrics. Forbes also named Neil one of the top 10 marketing experts of 2014.

Being into SEO, I love reading his blog posts, he is so detailed & instructive. I consider Quick Sprout to be the best place for a beginner in SEO. Neil Patel is really “a kind of big deal”

Danny Sullivan: After graduation, Danny worked for BBC for almost a year in England. Danny started Search Engine Watch in June 1997. Shortly after the beginning he sold it for an undisclosed amount to JupiterMedia & remained as editor in chief to maintain the site. Search Engine Watchwas considered by Matt Cutts as a “must reading” blog on search. He later founded Search Engine Land in the year 2006. He has nearly 20 years of experience in the search marketing space.

Dan Shure: This is going to be an interesting & inspirational read. He was struggling & facing challenges during 2011 and somehow wanted to get to a SEO conference to meet SEO’s in person to get involved more into the industry. He came to know that Affiliate Summit East was giving away free tickets to someone who shared the conference with a tweet & apparently he won.

The problems never ends here. He had no money & no way to get to NY. Hopped the cheapest bus, slept on the floor of her sister’s apartment & walked 20 minutes to & from the conference.
